I have a sick feeling that the Steelers are going to win the Superbowl. Their defense is really good this year and when i watch their games and Ben Rosafjaldfajsd-burger always seems to get away with things. I don't think he is as good as people say he is. People shouldn't use his Superbowl win as any indication to defend him either because we all know that Seattle should have won that game, it was the worst ref'd Superbowl game, playoff game, whatever game ever. You know what else bothers me about the Steelers? The fact that people like them just because they're "the Steelers". These are people who if i told them Terry Bradshaw was their quarterback they'd be like "Who's that?". You know these people. These are the same people who like the Yankees and the Lakers. And if you ask them their other favorite football team they'd say the Dolphins. These people bother me. Don't cheer for a team because at one point, years before you were born they were good, or so you heard from the other douche beside you who is similar to yourself. This is right up there with liking a team because your favorite colour is blue, so go Giants!
The Titans won't go far in the playoffs, they're playing well but reality will kick in. The Giants will probably make it pretty far, if not the Superbowl for sure the NFC title game. The Jets won't make much of a run cause remember, Favre will have a heart attack as i predicted.
I'M CALLING IT: The Steelers will win the Superbowl and i will be visually upset especially because they'll beat the Colts along the way on some stupid ass play involving Heinz Ward, whom i also dislike very very much. He's named after ketchup. That's just dumb. (i hope I'm wrong about calling this one)

Toblerone
Well, i was trying to think of a funny way of starting this entry, maybe a catchy title and Toblerone was the best i could come up with. This week is the week (i say week because we're not 100% on what day it happened) that our good (sweaty) buddy Rob Toby passed away three years ago. Tobes was part of the group back in the day. Towards the end of high school he sort of started to separate himself from us. We weren't mad at him, he was doing his own thing and we were getting ready to go to University. When i say 'we' the people who know me will know who i'm talking about. The University years went with seeing Tobes only a few times each summer and at Christmas. We talked about him sometimes like he was Pokeroo from Polka Dot Door. Remember that thing? We'd get together for drinks and someone would say "guess who i saw at the mall tonight, Toby!" The rest of us would be jealous and then wish it was us who'd seen him. The same would happen at the bar. We would all run downstairs to see him if we knew he was there. And there he'd be, standing in one place, sort of bouncing back and forth with a smile on his face, happier then hell to see us.
I can only speak for myself but while at University i didn't do a very good job of keeping in touch with him. He didn't make all that much of an effort either but it was different at the time because he stayed in Timmins and i was 8 hours away in Waterloo. That's what happens when you leave home, you tend to lose touch a bit with the people who stay. Of course i never thought that we had a really short time span with which to catch up. The last time i saw him was at Walmart in 2004, just before i moved to Korea for a year. He was there with his girlfriend and he was waiting for her to try something on. When i saw his big bald head i knew it was him and i was super pumped to see him. I told him where i was going and he was so excited for me. I knew that he would have loved to do something like that and i wish he had, i know it would have changed his life.
There is so much more i could talk about with him. His white pants, his sweaty ass on Anth's driveway after playing basketball, the fact that he didn't grow after grade 8, having his first cigarette in like grade 6 probably right after his first sexual experience...lots of stuff. Rob took his own life for a reason we'll never know. He was into things that obviously he didn't feel he could deal with. Things we wish we could have helped prevent. Personally I still think about that fat bastard quite a bit. I never thought that i would be dealing with a friend killing himself. I didn't really handle it very well when it happened, his funeral was one of the worst if not the worst day of my life. I'll never forget his bald head in that casket and the way his parents were just so calm. It was creepy. I was angry, i am angry still.
I think of him when i hear "Run to the hills" by Iron Maiden because he loved showing me how cool the drum parts are. I think of him when i hear "Beer Goggles" by Lagwagon because he would always say "ya man its true, when i drink i totally think ugly chicks are hot". I think of him when i see a mosh pit because in 97' at the Warped Tour he came out of the Lagwagon pit with a bloody mouth and a smile saying how fun it was. I think of how when i went in for an interview for a job at the grocery store he had one the same day and how pumped we were to work together. I think of Danny on the handlebars of his bike screaming "woo woo woo" on the way to Anth's. I know i'm forgetting some things that will be obvious as soon as i post this but that's ok. I won't ever forget them. I know if that son of a bitch is up there (with shmerbe and momma's wodden leg) he's bouncing around in white pants listening to the Fushnickens, smoking a cigarette and waiting for us to join him. Peace Tobes you sweaty bastard. (clearly sweat reminds me of him as well)
I'M CALLING IT: Toby's legacy of what went down in Tayo's basement during "lockout", the 7 hour smell will go down in history.

We get it
Ok Beyonce. We get it. You can dance. Congrats. Every single video you're dancing your ass off looking like you're going to collapse. Do you have to be so aggressive? Is it necessary to look like you're going to beat someone up when you're "putting your hands up"? I don't think it is. And why the angry face all the time? If it makes you that upset i don't see why you keep doing it. I see your larger than average hips swaying back and forth. You don't think i see them? I do. Jigga man must be scared of you when you guys get it on. If you're that aggressive doing something you love like dancing, you must be a bully in the sack. No wonder he raps about guns, its for protection against you! I'm just playin B. You go girl.
I'M CALLING IT: Beyonce will tear her ACL at the Grammy's, but people will think she's doing a cool new dance, starting the new dance crave "the ankle tear".

Where mamma keeps the cookies
I always go blocker side. Always. It is like i'm scared of the glove side, as if the goalie is unbeatable over there. Its kind of ridiculous. I've been playing hockey for a long time now, ball hockey, street hockey, ice hockey, whatever and i always panic at the last second and go blocker side. I think i can actually pin-point the moment in my hockey career where i decided that this would be the right choice for me. I was 11 and i was in a playoff game, semi finals i think it was and it was overtime. Me and Aiello on the ice against who knows and big ass Ben Pezola in net for the other team. The puck goes into our corner and some douche falls. Anth grabs it and send me on a break away. Knowing the importance of this shot i'm basically closing my eyes and hoping for the best. What do i do? I go blocker side on the ice. Goes in, i'm a hero. From that point on subconsciously i made the decision to always shoot that way. When i'm on a breakaway i'm like "you gonna go on a break away? you gonna.....shoot? you gonna deke? you gonna....move your head a little bit, maybe fool the goalie?..you gonna shoot on the....no you're going blocker side." Tonight at ball hockey i was on a break away, deked a bit then went, well you know where. It resulted in a save and after thinking about it, i had no shot there to begin with. So i told myself to not shoot there the rest of the night. I went in down the wing another time, went glove side with a pretty hard shot and it rang off the post, defeating my hopes of switching my need to go left. No dice. I did manage to score a few on some one timers that went right but they don't count cause i wasn't aiming in a particular spot when i shot.
On a somewhat related topic (somewhat because its hockey) i heard on the radio that back in the day Gretzky was the only Oiler or King that didn't cheat on his girlfriend or wife. Apparently this inside source said that all the other players cheated like mad but not Wayne. Interesting cause imagine the amount of action that was put in front of the Great One.
I'M CALLING IT: I will continue to go blocker side, thus embarrassing myself and having goalies read me like a damn book.

Sat night's movie
My original plan for this posting was to discuss a few hero's of mine. The idea just randomly came into my head at work on Friday and i thought that it would be a good topic to talk about because i think those people are pretty cool. But i just felt uninspired to talk about that when i started typing this entry. So i decided to talk about something cool i saw on Saturday night instead. MJ and i watched a movie called "Joyeux Noel" and it took place during World War 1. The cool thing is that it was based on a true story. So what happened is, on Christmas Eve of 1914, the Germans, French and Scottish decided to just stop fighting for two days. They were in trenches like only say 70 feet apart from each other with "no man's land" in between. Due to the spirit of the holiday they just decided, "hey, instead of kill each other, waddya say we just hang out?" That might even be a quote. So what they did was give each other booze, food, and played a game of soccer. While watching this i found it to be a little unreal so i checked online and found it to be true. The craziest part is that once the two day truce was over they went back to fighting. They basically shook hands, played soccer, drank some booze and were like "K cool, ummm, if i see your ass from now on i'm going to put a bullet in it so have a good one! Au revoir you Kraut son' bitch". Again, another quote. Then the Scots were like "Eye!...these kilts do nothing to make me warm!" Probably the best quote. So what i'm trying to say from all this i guess is how crazy that whole situation was/must have been. Probably would have been a better idea to stop fighting altogether. The Germans won the soccer game 3-2 by the way. BALEK!!!!
In sports news, the Titans won again tonight. Now they are 10-0 and nobody is mentioning the possibility of them having an undefeated season. Aside from the fact that New England did it last year (well, that is until their huge, disastrous, amazing choke in the Superbowl) I think that nobody is talking about it because Kerry Collins is their QB right now. Mr hitch is leading an undefeated team? I know i'm not the only one surprised, but i have to say i'm kind of impressed. He did lead the Giants to the Superbowl a few years back so maybe i should be giving him more credit. What must Vince Young be thinking? He's a talented young QB (apparently has problems with his emotions says his mom) who himself could possibly lead a team to go 10-0 and he's watching Collins do it. Then again, he's getting paid millions to do nothing. And sure he's hurt, but how hurt? Are they not rushing him back to health on purpose?
I'M CALLING IT: The Titans will finish the season 14-2 and lose in the AFC final. After the loss, they will interview Collins, and Vince will be caught smiling in the background.

Bill Simmons
I'm not sure if you are aware of a man named Bill Simmons. Some of my friends certainly are. I know Boz follows him religiously as i do. He's a sportswriter for ESPN.com and ESPN the magazine. I check ESPN every day , at least 3-4 times a day and the first thing i do is look to see if he's written a new column. I know that he usually updates on Wednesday's and sometimes Friday's but still i check because you never know! He wrote a book a few years ago but the whole thing was about the Red Sox and baseball and since i would rather watch synchronized swimming most of the time than baseball, i didn't touch the book. Today his column was a "mailbag" where he answers questions from who he claims are his actual readers.(i've sent several questions, none of which have been answered unfortunately) The best question in the mailbag today was the first one, a silly question about what Bill would do if he worked for Obama as a "Sports Czar". Now Bill's responses are often sarcastic for a laugh but a lot of the time i can tell how serious he is about some subjects, such as his distaste for Gary Bettman, the Boston Bruins franchise and Isaiah Thomas.
In reference to the restructuring he would do if he was so privileged to be awarded this position, he mentions how he would have: "The NHL disband eight teams, move a few more to Canada and form 11-team conferences in the United States and Canada" and how there would be "H-O-R-S-E for NBA All-Star Weekend"
With regards to his NHL decision, i have to say that i agree with the way that would look. I'm not saying put a team in Winnipeg. I'm aware that they have a great fan base but really, who the hell wants to live in Winnipeg. Teams would thrive in London, Kitchener, Hamilton and even possibly another team in Toronto. What good is a team in Columbus or Atlanta. They tried Atlanta once already remember? Huge failure, going back there has created no fan base, no revenue for the club and complete boredom when Atlanta goes to other cities to play. Folding Columbus, Atlanta, Florida even, Carolina, Nashville and have your pick at the other three, will do nothing in terms of hurting the NHL in my opinion. It is in a pretty miserable state as is. Will Gary Bettman please have a meeting with Roger Goodall to discuss how to properly run a league? Like Bill said, I think that David Stern sent Bettman to the NHL to make the NBA look good.
Now sit back and imagine how fun it would be to watch a H-O-R-S-E competition in the NBA. They are continuing to do crazy shit with the dunk competition i know but they would do so much more with H-O-R-S-E. Also, have the fans vote. They have those noise metre things, use them. I'm sick of Kenny Smith deciding who wins. That dude jumps up and down for everybody. "We have a winner ladies and gentlemen!"..i think that's what he says.
While typing this blog i'm watching the Jets/Pats game. Favre is still able to throw on the run while being tackled..and he's 72.
CALLING IT: Brett Favre will have a heart attack during the fourth quarter of a game in the playoffs this year. Then have a 60 yard drive to win in overtime. Then die.

Chuck
MJ picked me up the new Chuck Klosterman book "Downtown Owl". The difference between this one and his others is that this book is fiction. Now before i go on about how much i actually like Klosterman, i'm going to say that i am cautious going into this one because it is fiction. His other books are so easy to read partly because they are entertaining and partly because it reads as if he is having a conversation with you. My buddy Anth absolutely hated Klosterman's "Sex, Drugs and Cocoa Puffs" which surprised me. He hated it to the point where he couldn't even finish the book. Warren on the other hand (the Manning hater) expressed how he hated and loved it at the same time. That was more of the reaction i was expecting from Anth. How can you hate a book that has a chapter dedicated to Saved By the Bell, Screech and the infamous Tori, the metal, leather motorcycle jacket wearing rebel who wins over Zack's heart. Chuck's other books take a little bit of personal interest before reading. Being completely obsessed with music the way that i am, i found his other music-directed books a good read. I didn't really recommend those to some of my friends. Side note, i'm surprised i haven't blogged at all about music, both what i hate and like. Anyway, i'm two chapters into "Owl" and its an easy read so far. Typical Klosterman style of combining humour and references to his own upbringing in the rural, northern USA. (the book takes place in North Dakota, where Chuck either started writing or is from himself, i can't remember, Minnesota keeps popping into my head..either way, they're basically the same)
I had a four day weekend, which was pretty nice, although i didn't get up to anything spectacular. I'm playing hockey tomorrow, which will be fun even though i'll probably suck ass. I haven't skated since May. I played in a spring league this past year, which was the first time i played hockey in a league in ten years. I can't believe i've reached the point in my life where i can say "oh, ya, i haven't done that in ten years". As of next year i can say that about high school. Scary.
CALLING IT: Anth will read "Downtown Owl", like it a little, but say he hates it and will then start an argument with Boz about Klosterman's writing abilities. (Welcome back Boz.)

let the bad times roll - at Metrotown
Today at Metrotown, a major mall, in fact the largest mall in BC, two dudes were stabbed. This is a mall that MJ and i have been to several times. The stabbings were probably targeted, but it could have been very easy for some random person to get in the way and get hurt. Brutal. Here is a link to a picture of it, kind of graphic.

I do have some good news! My parents are coming here for Christmas! They bought their tickets the other night. I've sort have been bugging them for a long time to come out here and they kept telling me that they weren't sure, expensive, yadda yadda. All the while my dad was planning to surprise my mom by telling her that he was going to buy tickets. What a guy. They'll be here from the 21st to the 27th. I'm really excited, i haven't seen them in over a year. That seems crazy to say because it's a really long time, but we talk a lot so it doesn't seem like its been that long.
I watched quite a bit of the Cleveland/Denver football game Thursday night. I like it when i don't check the NFL schedule for a while and they have a random Thursday night game. This was Brady Quinn's first game as a starter. I remember watching this guy when he was at Notre Dame. I especially remember him on draft day when he kept slipping and the look on his face. In case you don't remember, he slipped so low that they took him into a back room so they didn't have to show how disappointed he was that he hadn't been drafted yet. He had a pretty good game Thursday night but Denver won. Can you believe that the Colts are 4-4? Reality is starting to set in a bit with the team in that other teams aren't intimidated anymore. Peyton is still sick though. His game last week against New England was awesome. There is nobody better in the league at coming back in the fourth quarter. When they are on a drive and have any momentum at all you just know they'll get a touchdown. Its going to happen, every time. And I'm not the only one who thinks so. My friend Warren who hates Manning will send me a quick MSN each week saying either "I hate your boyfriend but my god he's good" or "Manning is such a loser but i know they're going to score". Maybe not exactly those words but something to that effect.
I'M CALLING IT: The Colts will finish the season 9-7, winning the wild card and winning at least the first playoff game. I'll call the rest of their playoff lives the closer we get to it.

the den
Have you ever seen the show Dragon's Den? Its probably the only Canadian produced television show in the last, oh I'd say, 15 years that i really like. The others you ask? Those are pretty obvious: Degrassi Junior High, Degrassi High and the Beachcombers. There are some i just can't think of right now, and if they pop in my mind I'll add them. Anyway, Dragon's Den is a show where people show these five billionaire investors, inventions or products they have that they want them to invest in. Sometimes there are pretty good products like this dude who had these plastic cones, you know the ones that you see when there is construction work being done. These cones would fold up and also wouldn't tip over. Doesn't seem like all that much of a great idea but think about how many cities and companies will want to buy this thing. The "dragons" loved the idea and invested. And then, there are other ideas from people who are on severe amounts of crack. Tonight this woman was trying to sell water bottles, that had labels on them that said things like "inspire" and "believe in yourself" and things like that. It was simply water with these labels and by drinking it, you would look at whatever the word said and it would make you feel that way. It was so ridiculous.

I was supposed to go to a Lenny Kravitz concert tonight. As you can tell by what music i listen to while typing here, Lenny isn't one of my favourite acts. But, we had a chance to go for only 20 bucks so MJ and i thought it was a good move. He ended up cancelling because he is apparently sick. I'm pretty sure that this is the second time he has cancelled a show here in Vancouver. I personally am totally fine with it but someone out there has to be pretty pissed off. Come on Lenny get your shit together.

Today, November 4th, 2008 will go down in history. Indeed this day will go down as being one of the most important days the world has seen. I know what you're thinking, and I agree, it is fantastic. Even if you don't agree, please find it in your heart to join me in recognizing that today, before my own eyes.....my student was able to add double digit numbers by carrying. I couldn't believe it either. All these years we've spent wondering not only when, but if it could happen. What a glorious day.
Aside from that, as if anything could top it, Obama won in the states. That's pretty huge too. I bet you he's really good at math. I would say that it has to be some type of pre-requisite for being the President but Bush sort of negates any type of intellectual ability being necessary for that position. I think it's good that he won but I'm kind of nervous for the guy. You see, i don't put it past somebody, and I'm not specifically speaking of an American here, but somebody doing something stupid with the idea that an action such as trying to assassinate this super nice guy would make them famous. That being said, it's pretty sad that a thought like that would even pop into my head but these is the times we live in yo!
I really liked McCain's speech that he made tonight. It sounded like the old McCain that i used to like a few years ago before he got all crazy and old. It was almost like he realized what a douche he was being over the last little while. One thing he always did well i thought was when his radical ridiculous followers would boo Obama when they heard his name (as they did tonight, losers) he asked them to stop acting that way and stood up for Obama a little bit. I'm waiting for a Republican to change the whole persona of that party because things like the booing and the Christian centered politics make the party hard to handle. I'm not going to get into it any more than that cause i could rant for a while.
It is at this point that i would like to introduce a new segment to the blog, which is gaining popularity every day, i have the confirmation of four readers! I've had good luck in the past with "calling" things. If you know me, you'll know what i mean. So upon further discussion with my most dedicated reader (that's you italian) who advises me on my "calls" and who himself "calls" things on a regular basis, i will try to include a prediction with most entries if relevant.
I'M CALLING IT: Obama will be criticized within the first 8 months of his term by people who
supported him, whether or not he is doing a good job because people like to bitch and complain for no matter what. Especially Fox News. Damn you.

frust + rated = annoyed
src="http://pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/show_ads.js">
Bit of a rough day today. I got frustrated by something that happend at work. I won't go into any details because that wouldn't be very nice of me but i was a tad bit angry. I think that aside from the fact that i felt like crap i still would have been angry. Being sick just didn't help. I'm a bit of an idiot though. When i woke up i was super groggy, and instead of being smart and not going to work knowing full well that my day was planned for a sub to come in, i went in anyway.
I decided to play ball hockey tonight anyway thinking that i could try to sweat the sickness out. It was my first time playing in Burnaby with those guys. It went pretty well, the competition was really good. I'm slightly tired from that now. Floor hockey is always funny because there are always guys who go there and just give it absolutely everything they have. Weekly floor hockey seems to be the only thing they look forward to each week and when they're on the floor their heads are down and they are just going at it. It makes it fun for me though because otherwise i guess it would be pretty boring.
Four more days until the four day long weekend because of Remembrance Day and another day we get off because of a workshop we did in the summer. I love it that in BC Remembrance Day is a holiday. I guess they got even in Ontario by having that family day or whatever in February. I should petition for that to be a holiday here as well. They hate Ontario so much out here I'm surprised they haven't given us two new holidays as a result.

Porn and Sushi
Woke up today feeling kind of crappy. Throat was dry and felt strange. I also made the mistake of setting the alarm on the "beep beep beep" setting, which scared the be-jesus out of me this morning. Quite the busy day today, I didn't get the chance to watch any football at all unfortunately.
We went for all you can eat sushi at Top Gun in New West for Maryanne's neice Lea's birthday. There were only about 7 of us so it was nice and small. The food was pretty good, but Top Gun is not one of my favorite places for sushi. I really like Shabusen for all you can eat sushi. They have all you can eat Korean bbq on the weekends too. Maryanne's brother Michael was nice enough to pay for everything, which I thought was extremely nice and much appreciated! We had a talk about how in the Filipino culture it is custom for the person who is having the birthday to pay for everything. Quite different from the Canadian culture whereby the birthday person just sits and takes whatever everyone buys for them! Good thing that didn't come up for Maryanne's birthday when there were 17 of us eating bbq at Insadong.
After sushi we went to Metrotown in Burnaby because Maryanne (decided to now refer to her as MJ as Maryanne is long to type and MJ is a good nickname to have) needed to pick something up. Rather than running in and out quickly due to the absurd amount of people that were there we decided to stay to watch a movie. We watched "Zack and Miri Make a Porn". I've been on a Kevin Smith kick over the last little while because I just read his book. The movie had its funny moments and was pretty entertaining throughout. I wouldn't say that it is even close to the quality of his other movies but that being said, this movie is new for him in that he did not reference any other films whatsoever. I think I liked it overall. It will go down as a movie that contains the word "fuck" more times than most films. What was a little weird was seeing Jason Mewes in another role than his usual Jay. He was pretty funny. He looked crazy thin. All I kept thinking about was Smith's book and the part about Mewes being hooked on heroin (we're tight, i can address them by last names only).
After the movie was a quick prescription pick up at London Drugs, which never is as fast and easy as it should be, then we did a grocery run as is the norm on Sunday nights, to get ready for food for the week. Every Sunday it's a fight with my brain to try to think of things that I can make for lunch during the week. I swear that since getting a full time steady job one of the biggest tasks I face is deciding what to eat for lunch. It consumes so much of my morning and evening. It's a serious issue. I'd like to take this time to thank Quizno's for being so close to my work.
This week will be pretty busy. Monday night I'm playing floor hockey somewhere in Langley, Tuesday is floor hockey at work, Wednesday is the Lenny Kravitz concert and I'm leaving out something I need to do Thursday night. It'll come back to me.

1st one of the year and the year's almost over
So i'm going to start blogging again. This is probably the third or fourth attempt at this, shows how dedicated i can be with things. This is an interesting thing each time because who am i really writing to? Not a whole lot of people unless i tell them about this thing so i guess i can use it as a way to vent because i'm sure i'll find a ton of things to complain about.
Maryanne and I moved to Port Coquitlam in October. Nice to be out of Surrey. We have a pool that we're allowed to use and we actually have a view, which is rare for a basement suite. The landlords are really nice, i mean, letting us use the pool? That's huge and will ensure visits from Ontario peeps for sure.
Work has been going well enough. Still not 100% on the whole teaching thing, not toally convinced i guess you can say. May have to do with the fact that i have to speak French all day, something i haven't done since....ever. My French has improved, there's no doubt about that. I'll just have to suck it up for this year and see what's available next year. I guess i'm just keeping my options open for something else that may come along, never know who you're going to meet. Hopefully i'll just win that lottery tomorrow for 39 mil and not have to worry about it.
The Phillies won the world series this week. Here are a few reasons why i am happy about that:
1) baseball is over
2) the yankees didn't win
3) baseball is over
I've tried in the past to get into that sport. It's fun to play don't get me wrong, but to watch it just drains me. I even used to watch the playoffs with some interest. But it just doesn't interest me at all. Go Jays next year i guess.
Maryanne's sister went to Hawaii today. I'm slightly jealous. We went to Korea this past summer to work for three months and travel for one week but altogether it didn't really feel like much of a vacation. Mainly because work sucked major ass. It was pretty cool to get back to Daegu, see some old people and familiar spots. It was neat (who says "neat") to be back there with Maryanne because that was where we met/hooked up/sealed the deal etc. I don't have any plans to go back there for a long time though. I've had my fill of the country. I really want to go back to Vegas but Maryanne has been there 5 times and travelling seems to be getting crazy expensive. United Airlines is actually charging people like 25 bucks per luggage item. Isn't that rediculous? Pretty soon they'll charge us for using the bathroom on the plane. Seriously, i'm calling that now. It'll be 2 bucks to take a poop and they'll charge you extra if you take too long.
Big week coming up with the election, the US election on Tuesday. Barack will win, which rules out my call of Hillary winning that i made a few years ago. I think Barack will do a better job than McCain, i feel like he can handle situations better. I used to be a fan of McCain's. He used to go on the Daily Show all the time and seemed like a pretty good guy, sort of a left wing Republican if that's possible. This election turned him into something else though, something weird. Maybe his age got to him. I'm not going to waste any time on Sarah Palin other then this sentence. And this one talking about how much of a douche she is dont-cha-know.
We watched the Office tonight on my laptop cause we missed it Thursday night. It was great, Andy is quickly becoming my favorite character. St. Bernard should have more lines on the show for sure. My buddy Anth emails me and my friend Tuna quotes every day from the show and we have to guess which character says what. I'm behind and have been doing kind of shitty lately but i wouldn't put it past Banya to say that he could be cheating at times. There were examples in the past of quotes that you would only know if you either saw the episode the night before or , well no, that's the only reason. I'm on to you Balky.
30 Rock was pretty funny as well. It isn't a show where you'll catch me laughing out loud but it keeps me entertained for sure. Alec Baldwin is funny. Ben Afleck did a Baldwin impression on SNL tonight. It was good at first but got lame after a while i though. SNL has had quite the insurgence lately and i've actually made an effort to watch it, which hasn't happend since i was like 18. Tonight was a dissapointment. What i watch for mainly is Kristin Wiig. She's hilarious.
Pretty long entry for the first one but i guess i wanted to update the last little while because updating over the last year would be just dumb and long. I have a goal of updating at least every two days. I really have no excuse. Peace.
